I had a customer that was upset because their online order was delayed and it was my responsibility to resolve their issue and to ensure that the customer is satisfied.
I listen to them and apologize for the delay and lastly check the status of their order. To make up for the delay I also offer them a discount on the next purchase. As a result of my efforts and decided to continue shopping with us. By using the star method the answers will be given as clear structured and also impactful.
Using real life examplesÂ
It is considered as one of the best ways to showcase problem solving skills. By sharing real life examples, whether in a job interview resume conversation or telling a story about how to solve a certain problem can help others to see your abilities and how you can use them as an action and not just in your communication.
For example, if someone is working in a store and the customer is not happy because they receive the wrong product. Now the employer is not simply apologizing but also checking the stop to find the right product and offering us a small discount to the customer as an apology. This is considered as quick thinking and the ability to resolve issues quickly which is considered in problem solving abilities.Â
